Boardmaking workshops for ages 8 and up<\/h2>\n

In my workshop we will share some history regarding the k\u014dnane game board.\u00a0 Then we will discuss how each board was rough cut, and how to hand finish it.\u00a0 \u00a0Each participant will learn the basics of sanding techniques, with emphasis on acquiring the desired finish.<\/p>\n

I can conduct a “Make and Play” style activity where the boards are playable “as is” to kick off the workshop with a double elimination style tournament.\u00a0 After a contestant is eliminated, they are free to work on finishing their boards together or solomente.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
